Update Apr

Apr 25th, once again we've changed the look and feel of our site. All the content that was there is still there lurking somewhere. We kind of lost focus on what we do here, so thus came the change. All comments and suggestions are welcome. Let us know what you think, good or bad.

Apr 1st, Wizbones PC now offers up the ability to edit your text or copy on your web site without having to know HTML. That's right if you know how to use Microsoft Word or Notepad or anything similar then you can update the copy of your site!! Type in your change, click the save button and it's live. Couldn't be any simpler. For only $200.00 installation and $35.00 a page that you wish to be able to edit and you're off and running. No more having to pay someone to maintain your copy. Need to change a phone number? Login and change it, takes no more than a few minutes. Want to add a few paragraphs explaining some changes in the company? Login, make the changes done. No one to call, no waiting for someone to do it for you, you're in, you're out, you're done. Stop by our office for a demo. If your site isn't hosted with Wizbones PC some restrictions from your provider may apply.

Update Mar

Mar 12, Re-launched http://www.stayton.net as a new community interactive portal site, using XOOPS as the backend. Stayton.net is a database, php driven site where you can register, and post news, events, links, downloads, read cartoons and much more. Stayton has never really had a site where people could find out information about stayton or ask questions etc, now they can. We hope you join in and help us on this venture and make Stayton.net a functional and fun place to hang out here and there. Stop by and check it out.

Update Feb

Feb 6th, Our UPS (Uninterruptable Power Source) decided it has fulfilled it's obligation to us and that it was time to move on and with a horrid smell it let us know for sure it meant it was done. So briefly this A.M. around 10 - 10:30 we had to take both servers down, to disconnect the burned out device. Both servers were back up and running with-in minutes, so there should not have been a noticeable down time. Unless of course you attempted to check your mail or browse your site during those precious minutes.

Jan 31st, WVI finally got their DS3 installed after the lengthy delay from Qwest, so bandwidth is once again back up to speed!

Jan 10th, we've decided to incorporate the weekly webtrends stats with all basic or above domain hosting accounts at no extra cost. If you'd like stats added to your service please call or email us, and we'll get it set up and run your first report that day, then it will be updated every Monday morning there after. Just want to let all of our customers know that we appreciate you and will continue to do what we can to make this the best service you can find!!

Jan 2nd, we've installed Neomail on the Stayton.net server, giving all domains hosted on that box the ability to check their email via web based email. Just log on to http://www.yourdomain.com/webmail type in your current username and password and you can check your email on any computer that has an internet connection. This is a full fledged email program, so you can send, reply, delete etc. Keep in mind if you delete an email message using webmail you will not be able to download it later in your regular email program.
